is a song played in the 2000 Bollywood film “Pukar”.
ke saraa saraa is the Hindustani pronunciation of the English expression “Que Sera Sera”, which is usually spelt using Spanish words, but it is not grammatical in that language.
A worldwide famous song named after this phrase was released in 1956, sung by the American actress Doris Day.
In Spanish, one would expect: Lo que será, será
The video clip shows a scene of the movie where the female protagonist, Anjali (played by Madhuri Dixit ) dances and sings along with Prabhu Deva (acting as himself in an item number), while being watched by Jai, the male protagonist and her love interest (Anil Kapoor).
The song’s music was composed by A.R.Rahman. It is a rework of the Tamil song “Kadhal Niagara”, also by Rahman, which was featured in the 1999 Tamil movie “En Swasa Katre”.
The lyrics were composed by A.R. Rahman Javed Akhtar and Majrooh Sultanpuri.
