xudaa jaane (Hindi: ख़ुदा जाने, Urdu: خُدا جانے) "God Knows", is a song from the 2008 Bollywood romantic comedy "Bachna Ae Haseeno".
The song is played during scenes of the movie where the main male protagonist, a young playboy called Raj (played by Ranbir Kapoor ) courts Gayatri (Deepika Padukone), an Indian girl studying and residing in Australia.
The scenes were shot against the background of the city of Venice and several other beautiful landscapes in Italy's Mezzogiorno.
The song's lyrics were written by Anvita Dutt, and the music was composed by the duo Vishal-Shekhar.
The background singers are KK for the male parts, and Shilpa Rao for the female parts.
