uR gae

uR gae
Touch on each word to display its meaning
uR   gae
I Soared
ham   to   uR   gae   jab   tum   jhuke
tab   se   tum   nazar   meN   aa   ruke
I just soared when you bent
since then, you stopped and came in sight
ham   to   ho   gae   zamaan
dhiire-dhiire   thaa   lamHaa
ab   to   honaa   hai   vahii   jo   banaae   jahaan
 [ all stanza x2 ]
ham   to   uR   gae
uR   gae  …  [ x2 ]
I just became an era
the moment passed slowly
Now only exactly what the world composes has to happen
[all stanza x2]
I just soared,
soared … [x2]
aisii   ajnbii   thiiN   aapsii
ki   ham   se   na   kabhii   koii   aa   phaNsii
The unfamiliar (things) were in such a way mutual
that no (woman) ever came to get entangled with me
ham   to   ho   gae   zamaan
dhiire-dhiire   thaa   lamHaa
ab   to   honaa   hai   vahii   jo   banaae   jahaan
 [ all stanza x2 ]
ham   to   uR   gae
uR   gae  …  [ x2 ]
I just became an era
the moment passed slowly
Now only exactly what the world composes has to happen
[all stanza x2]
I just soared,
soared … [x2]
ham   to   haiN   samaae
ham   to   haiN   zamiin
ham   se   na   kabhii  …
 [ all stanza x2 ]
I had fitted in
I was the earth
(as) never (happened) with me …
[all stanza x2]
ham   to   ho   gae   zamaan
dhiire-dhiire   thaa   lamHaa
ham   se   na   kabhii  …
 [ all stanza x2 ]
I just became an era
the moment passed slowly
(as) never (happened) with me …
[all stanza x2]
uR   gae  …  [ x6 ]
I soared … [x6]

uR gae (Hindi: उड़ गए, Urdu: اڑ گئے) "I Soared", is a song written, composed, and sung by the Indian singer-songwriter Ritviz.

The song was released in 2017 on the Youtube channel and platform "A.I.B" (which stands for All India Bakchod), after winning that year's talent hunt organized by A.I.B, the "2017 Bacardi House Party Sessions".

The video clip depicts a group of old men in gaudy dresses on a modest theatre stage, awkwardly performing dance and Indian pop-culture moves.

In the end, the audience (formed exclusively by their respective wives on first row) gives a standing ovation.
