Come on, yes, come on, yes,

Well, how will they break, these bonds of the heart,
these bonds of the heart?
Wave with wave, in unison, are not separated,
the waves, in unison.
Should you hide in an eddy, I won't let you hide,
I won't let you hide
I will sink your boat and I will look for you,
and I will look for you.
One day we will turn,
we will turn the storm into a shore.
This union of yours and mine is bound to persist.
tuu gaNgaa kii mauj , maiN
jamunaa kaa dhaaraa
[ both verses x2 ]
ho rahegaa milan , ye hamaaraa
ho hamaaraa , tumhaaraa rahegaa milan
ye hamaaraa tumhaaraa

tuu gaNgaa kii mauj (Hindi: तू गंगा की मौज, Urdu: تُو گنگا کی مَوج) "You are the surge of the Ganges" is a song from the 1952 Hindi film "Baiju Bawra".
The song is about a singer in the times of the Mughal empire, on a quest to duel another court singer in order to avenge his father. Along the story, this singer, Baiju (played by the Indian actor Bharat Bhushan) meets his love Gauri, the daughter of a boatsman (played by the Indian actress and Urdu poet Meena Kumari).
The video clip shows Baiju standing on the shore of a river where Gauri is rowing on a boat. He courts her with his singing, while she appears touched and ashamed, and at some point she covers her face with her hands and is unable to continue rowing. Her discomfiture increases when the boat drifts close to Baiju and the whole village seems to join his love song.
Meena Kumari acted this scene masterfully, and Bharat Bhushan, even though he is not the actual singer, showed the rare musical sense he was reputed for.
The song revolves around the theme of boats, rowers, and the rivers Ganges and Jamuna, both very important rivers in India and of religious significance to Hindus. The Jamuna converges into the Ganges, the same as the two lovers who are also bound to unite.
The singer is the legendary Indian singer Mohhamed Rafi. There is a small female part when one of the village women joins Baiju's song, interpreted by the also legendary Indian playback singer Lata Mangeshkar, the rest is choral.
The lyrics were written by the Urdu poet Shakeel Badayuni, a famous contributor to Bollywood films and a celebrated ghazal author.
The music was composed by the great Indian composer Naushad Ali ("Naushad").
Naushad and Shakeel Badayuni formed a prolific and celebrated composer/lyricist duo.
