I Am Wearied
tang   aa   chuke   haiN   kashmkash-e-zindagii   se   ham   [ x2 ]
Thukraa   na   deN   jahaan   ko   kahiiN   bedilii   se   ham
[ mixed with movie dialog ]
I am wearied with the struggle of life
May I not get to reject the world out of dejection!
[mixed with movie dialog]
ham   Gamzdaa   haiN ,  laaeN   kahaaN   se   xushii   ke   giit
kahaaN   se   xushii   ke   giit  …
deNge   vo   hii   jo   paaeNge   is   zindagii   se   ham   [ x2 ]
I am grief stricken, from where would I bring songs of joy?
songs of joy … from where?
I will only give whatever I get from life
ubhreNge   ek   baar   abhii   dil   ke   valvle
abhii   dil   ke   valvle  …
maanaa   ki   dab   gae   haiN   Gam-e-zindagii   se   ham   [ x2 ]
The heart's spirits will still rise once more
The heart's spirits … once more …
although, granted, I was buried by the grief of life
lo   aaj   ham   ne   toR   diyaa  …
lo   aaj   ham   ne   toR   diyaa   rishtaa-e-ummiid
rishtaa-e-ummiid  …
lo   ab   kabhii   gilaa   na   kareNge   kisii   se   ham   [ x2 ]
See, today I have broken …
today, I have broken any hope of a relationship
hope of a relationship …
See now, I won't ever again complain about anyone
