ruk ruk are baabaa ruk (Hindi: रुक रुक अरे बाबा रुक, Urdu: رک رک ارے بابا رک) "Stop, Stop, Oh, Mister, Stop" is a song composed by the Indian music director and singer Anu Malik (Anwar Sardar Malik) for the 1994 action movie "Vijaypath".
The lyrics were written by Shyam Anuragi.
The original movie showed the female protagonist Mohini (the Indian actress Tabu) pledging her love for the male protagonist Karan (Ajay Devgn).
The song has been recreated for the 2018 Hindi drama "Helicopter Eeela", and that is the video clip been displayed in this page.
In the video clip, Eela, the female protagonist (Kajol), is shown at what seems to be a song recording at a sound studio, but quickly transitions to dance scenes going over several color-themed dancers and scenarios.
For this version, the lyrics are essentially the same as the original, and the music was slightly modified by the composer Raghav Sachar with the addition of rap-like recited parts.
