koii mil gayaa (Hindi:कोई मिल गया, Urdu: کوئی مِل گیا) "I met someone" is a song from the 1998 Bollywood romantic drama Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
The video clip shows some college party scene where two young women, Anjali (Kajol) and Tina (Rani Mukerji) compete for the attention of the male protagonist, Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan).
In the video, the seductive Tina gets the upper hand, and Anjali pulls herself together and tries to react gracefully to the situation.
At some point the school Principal, Mr Malhotra (Anupam Kher) and Ms. Braganza, the English teacher (Archana Puran Singh), who were initially reluctant, join the dancing and singing.
The song's lyrics were written by Sameer Anjaan, and the music was composed by de duo Jatin-Lalit.
The playback singers are Alka Yagnik and Kavita Krishnamurti for the two female voices, and Udit Narayan for the male voice.
