kabhii alvidaa na kehnaa(Hindi:कभी अलविदा न कहना, Urdu: کبھی الوِداع نہ کہنا) is a song from the 2006 IIndian romantic film also called Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, a very successful film also known by its acronym, KANK.
The song was written by the lyricist Javed Akhtar, and the music was composed by the trio S-E-L.
The playback singers are Sonu Nigam for the male voice, and Alka Yagnik for the female voice.
The film is about Dev Saran, a soccer player (played by Shah Rukh Khan) and a Maya, a school teacher (played by Rani Mukerji).
Both are unhappily married and fall in love with each other, but they seem destined not to realize their union.
The video clip shows scenes of the two main protagonists remembering the times when they met, and also scenes with their respective couples: Rhea (Dev's wife, played by Preity Zinta), Dev's son Arjun, and Maya's husband Rishi (played by Abishek Bachchan).
