The song is played in the midst of a Holi celebration, where the movie's 2 protagonists, Kabir and Khalid,(played respectively by Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff), who are two tough secret service agents, size each other up and dance together.
The song's lyrics were written by Rakesh Kumar, and the music was composed by the duo Vishal-Shekhar.
