The word ghaagraa is the name of a long, traditional waist-to-ankle skirt worn by the female dancers in the song's video clip.
The song's lyrics were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, and the music was composed by Pritam.
The video clip shows scenes of the movie where the male protagonist, "Bunny" (Ranbir Kapoor), engages in a poetry and dance duel with the Mohini, a dancer from the city of Agra (Madhuri Dixit , doing an "item number").
The playback singers are Rekha Bhardwaj for the female parts, and Vishal Dadlani for the male parts.
