Thick shade
The glow of flashing lightning
is telling that springtime came [x2]
Oh, it is telling that springtime came

With this season, it colored everything verdant
Look wonderstruck all the birds today, and this green!
In this season today, you also take part in the color
play the touch of the (systrum) strings, and bring the drum along
ghumaR ghumaR kaalii ghaTaa raudr ruup dhar dhar ke
dhartii ko rom-rom dhaRke , dhaRke , dhaRke
Thick masses of clouds gathered up, taking a frightful form
and beat, beat every single part of the earth

ghanan ghanan chhaayo re
damak damak chamke bijurii
kɛhte hai rturaaj aayo [ x2 ]
kɛhte hai rturaaj aayo rii
Thunder, raincloud/megh today
Thick shade
The glow of flashing lightning
is telling that springtime came [x2]
Oh, it is telling that springtime came
