ek ghaRii
Touch on each word to display its meaning
ek ghaRii
A Moment
ek ghaRii aur
Thahar ke jaan baaqii haiN
[ both lines x2 ]
tere lab pe
mere hone kaa nishaan
baaqii haiN
ek ghaRii aur
Thahar ke jaan baaqii haiN
Having (you) stayed another moment,
there is life left
[both lines x2]
On your lip,
the marks of my being (there)
are left
Having (you) stayed another moment,
there is life left
shab ke chehre pe chaRhaa rang
savere kaa to kyaa
[ both lines x2 ]
Dhalte xaaboN meN
abhii apnaa jahaan baaqii hai
ek ghaRii aur
Thahar ke jaan baaqii haiN
tere lab pe
mere hone kaa nishaan
baaqii haiN
ek ghaRii aur …
The color of the morning rose
on the night's face, so what?
[both lines x2]
In waning dreams,
our world is still remaining
Having (you) stayed another moment,
there is life left
On your lip,
the marks of my being (there)
are left
Another moment …
