dilbar mere kab tak mujhe
aise hii taRpaaoge
maiN aag dil meN lagaa duuNgaa vo
ki pal meN pighal jaaoge
[ all stanza x2 ]
Oh, my sweetheart,
how much longer you will torture me so?
I will light the fire in (your) heart
that will melt (you) in an instant
[all stanza x2]
ik din aaegaa , pyaar ho jaaegaa
maiN aag dil meN lagaa duuNgaa vo
ki pal meN pighal jaaoge
One day will come, you will fall in love
I will light the fire in (your) heart
and will melt (you) in an instant
sochoge jab mere baare meN tanhaaiyoN meN
ghir jaaoge aur bhii merii parchhaaiyoN meN
[ both lines x2 ]
dil machal jaaegaa , pyaar ho jaaegaa
When you will have thought about me in (your) loneliness(es)
you will be surrounded even more in my shadows
[both lines x2]
Your heart will get uneasy, you will fall in love
dilbar mere kab tak mujhe
aise hii taRpaaoge
maiN aag dil meN lagaa duuNgaa vo
ki pal meN pighal jaaoge
Oh, my sweetheart,
how much longer you will torture me so?
I will light the fire in (your) heart
that will melt (you) in an instant
dil se milegaa jo dil to mɛhkne lagoge
tum merii baaNhoN meN aa ke bɛhɛkne lagoge
[ both lines x2 ]
hosh kho jaaegaa , pyaar ho jaaegaa
When heart shall unite with heart, then you'll start being fragrant
Once come to my arms, you'll start feeling intoxicated
[both lines x2]
You will lose (your) senses, you will fall in love
dilbar mere kab tak mujhe
aise hii taRpaaoge
maiN aag dil meN lagaa duuNgaa vo
ki pal meN pighal jaaoge
Oh, my sweetheart,
how long will you torture me so?
I will light the fire in (your) heart
that will melt (you) in an instant
ik din aaegaa , pyaar ho jaaegaa
maiN aag dil meN lagaa duuNgaa vo
ki pal meN pighal jaaoge
One day will come, you will fall in love
I will light the fire in (your) heart
that will melt (you) in an instant
