jaavidaaN zindagii (Hindi: जाविदां ज़िंदगी, Urdu: جاوداں زِندگی) is a song featured in the Bollywood 2007 romantic film "Anwar".
The proper pronunciation of the word is perhaps jaavidaaN, which is a word that can be used as an adjective (eternal, perpetual), or as an adverb (eternally, perpetually).
Hence, the title could be translated as "Eternally life" or, more freely, "Life Eternal".
The song is also sometimes called "Tose Naina Lage" or "Tose Naina Lage Piya Sanware", because of the most popular and remembered part of the lyrics.
In the movie, which is a tragic love story, the song is played at climactic parts where a young man in love, Anwar (Siddhart Koirala), enraged by jealousy, kills the man his love interest Anita (Manisha Koirala) eloped with.
The video clip scenes are a little truculent, so I chose to show a video with the lyrics only.
The song's lyrics were written by Hasan Kamal, and the music, for this as well as the other songs in the film, was composed by Mithoon.
The playback singers are Kshitij Tarey for the male parts, and Shilpa Rao for the female parts.
