The song's lyrics were written by Javed Akhtar, and the music was composed by Pritam.
The playback singers are Anand Raaj Anand for the male parts, and Richa Sharma for the female parts.
The word billō is a Punjabi word used to address women, it is related to Hindustani's billī (cat), and it is used for women having unusually clear eye colors.
The movie tells the story of members of a professional soccer team.
In the song and video clip, on occasion of a party, several members of the team especially Sunni (John Abraham) and Shaan (Arshad Warsi) drink and try to woo their respective couples while a group of traditional dancers and singers entertain them.
