Paagal (Hindi: पागल, Urdu: پاگل) "Crazy" is a song and video clip sung, written and composed by the Indian rapper Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known by his stage name "Badshah".

The song talks about a charming, "crazy" girl of fiery character, and the effect she has on the singer.

The video clip features typical "underground" imagery, and parts of it were shot with the backdrop of the Los Angeles River Basin Waterway, a typical landmark of this city.

The main characters in the video are Badshah himself, and the American model Rose Romero.

The song uses the term malāī or malai, which is a milk-based clotted cream ingredient used to prepare many typical dishes in the Indian subcontinent.

It also refers to the names "Shah Rukh" and "Katrina", implying the enormously famous Bollywood couple formed by the actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The expression "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang" is used in the song in relation to the girl's wrists (kalāī)
In Hindustani poetry, there is a tradition of celebrating the rattling sound made by women's bracelets, anklets, et cetera.

"Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang" is an expression made popular by an American 1968 family movie of that name, starred by Dick Van Dyke. The movie is about a flying car, also called "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang".

Going back in time, the expression can be traced to a line of aero-engineered racing cars manufactured in the 1920's. So the expression can be an onomatopoeia for the sound of an idling motor.

But going even further back in time, to the times of the British Raj, a "Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang" seems to have been the soldier's slang for the written leave permission slip ("chitty"), assumed to be used mostly with the purpose of visiting brothels ("bang bang").

The words ciṭ and ciṭṭhī, used to refer to a writ or scrap of paper, are clearly Hindustani in origin, and were adopted by English.
