Mashallah (Hindi: माशाअल्लाह, Urdu and Arabic: ما شاء اللہ) "God has willed it", a common Arabic expression, is a song from the 2012 Hindi spy thriller film "Ek Tha Tiger".

In the movie, an Indian spy code-named "Tiger" (played by Salman Khan) meets and later falls in love with Zoya, a spy from the arch-enemy Pakistani secret service (played by the Indo-British actress Katrina Kaif).

The video clip shows a souk and streets of some market district in what appears to be a Middle Eastern location (Irak, according to the movie), where Tiger makes his first contact with Zoya while on a mission.

The song lyrics are in Hindi, with the chorus written (or sung) in broken Arabic, in order to provide Middle-Eastern ambiance. A small female part is written in a mix of Hindi and Punjabi words. The author is the Indian Bollywood lyricist Kausar Munir.

The singers are the Indian playback singers Wajid Khan (from the Sajid-Wajid singer/composer duo), and Shreya Ghoshal for the shorter female parts. The music was also composed by Sajid-Wajid.
