It is an unknown twist
there's terror in each corner
Smoke covered every gaze
(Who knows) what was lost
in the extent of a moment

The sky is cold
Even sighs are cold
The shadow became separated
from the body
[Hmm …]

in the extent of a moment

The breath seems to have stopped,

Your world left
towards a landscape of broken dreams

Light of God, light of God,
tell me where you have hidden.
Light of God, light of God,
don't turn your eyes away from us
[all stanza x 2]
Light of God …

Ho! Do awaken din and dharma!
Ho! Burning solitudes!
Upset shadows!
How did this wind soar?
How did this atmosphere spread?

The shout of peace makes (me) miserable
The flowing blood complains
The sign of You has gone, effaced

Noor-e-Khuda (Urdu: نُورِ خُدا, Hindi: नूर-ए-ख़ुदा) "The Light of God" is a song belonging to the 2010 Indian movie drama "My Name is Khan".

In the movie, Rizvan Khan (interpreted by the Indian actor Shahrukh Khan or "SRK") is an Indian man in the USA who suffers from the Asperger syndrome but has many technical talents.
He is married to a hair stylist, Mandira (interpreted by Indian actress Kajol Mkjerji a.k.a. "Kajol").
Due to some tragical circumstances in the movie, Khan embarks on a road trip across the USA to meet the country's president.

The video clip shows how Khan earns his life during that trip, by doing odd jobs as a repairman.
In the meantime, Mandira is shown interacting with the police in a related criminal investigation.
At some point during the trip, Khan, who is a Muslim, insists on performing his prayer duty despite the inconveniences and general anti-Muslim atmosphere of those times in the USA.

The singers are Adnan Sami, Shankar Mahadevan, and Shreya Ghoshal. The lyrics were written by Niranjan Iyengar, and the music composer was "SEL" an Indian band whose name is an acronym of the first names of its members (Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani, and Loy Mendonsa).
