Mere Maula (Hindi: मेरे मौला, Urdu: میرے مولا) "My Lord" is the theme song of an Indian TV series called "Razia Sultan", originally aired by &TV.
I know neither the writer nor the interpreter; the lyrics could be from medieval poet Amir Khusro, but the song is in modern, standard Hindustani.

Razia, or Raziya-al-Din, was the first and only female ruler of the Dehli Sultanate, under the Mamluk Dynasty in the XIII century.
In the series, the song is first played when she meets her lover and future emir, Mizra Altunia.
The characters of Razia and Mizra are played by Indian actors Pankhuri Awasthy and Rohit Purohit.

The song has a mystic, probably Sufi ambiance. It plays with the idea of God (or one's spiritual master) as a lover, theme very common in mystic poetry.

There is a similar song on YouTube with the same music and similar lyrics, but sung by a woman from a feminine perspective.
Alas, this interpreter is also unknown.
