Paar Chenaab De (Gurmukhi: ਪਾਰ ਝਨਾਂ ਦੇ, Shahmukhi: پار چناں دے) "Across the Chenab", tells the famous Punjabi folk love story "Sohni Mahiwal".

In this story, Sohni, a potter's daughter, every night crosses the river Chenab in order to meet her lover Mahiwal.
She uses an earthenware pot to keep afloat in the water, but one day this pot is cruelly replaced by an unbaked one, which dissolves in the water, and she dies.

The singers in the video are Shilpa Rao, a very famous Indian singer mostly known for her movie playback work, and Noori, a Pakistani band whose vocalists are the brothers Ali Noor and Ali Hamza.

This song was aired in 2016 at Season 9 of Coke Studio Pakistan.
