Tere Liye (Hindi: तेरे लिये, Urdu: تیرے لئے) "For You", "For Your Sake, is the final theme song of 2004 Indian movie drama "Veer-Zaara".

In this movie, Veer, an Indian Air Force officer, (played by Shar Ruh Khan) and a Pakistani girl, Zaara (Preity Zinta) fall in love; but they are forcibly separated.
Then he is unjustly sent to jail, and she is made to believe that he is dead.

The song is played when both aging lovers reunite after his many years of imprisonment.

The music was composed by legendary Indian composer Madan Mohar, and the lyrics were written by the poet and screenplay writer Javed Akhtar.
Indian playback singers Lata Mangeshkar and Roop Kumar Rathod do the feminine and masculine voices, respectively.
