Khoya Khoya Chand (Hindi: खोया खोया चाँद, Urdu: کھویا کھویا چاند) "Lost, Lost Moon" is a song from the 1960 Hindi romantic drama film "Kala Bazar".

In the movie, Raghu. a poor bus driver turned black marketeer (played by the Indian actor Dev Anand) falls in love with Alka (played by the Indian actress Waheeda Rehman), an honest girl who doesn't tolerate his criminal practices.

In the video clip, Raghu sings his love for Alka with the beautiful landscape of the Southern Indian region of Ooty as background.

What Raghu sells in the black market are cinema tickets. Especially, he makes a big profit selling tickets for "Mother India", a real 1957 Indian movie which is probably one of the most famous Indian films of all time. Thanks to popular demand, tickets to this movie end up reaching astronomical prices, making Raghu a rich man.

Many Indian movie stars of the time made cameo appearances in this movie, portrayed as assisting to movie premieres. Among them, Mohammed Rafi, who is also the singer of this song.

During the video clip, Dev Anand performs the sort of ecstatic, disjointed arm swaying that became his trademark.

The song was written by the Indo-Pakistani lyricist, singer and composer Shailendra, and the music was composed by the famous Bengali composer S.D. (Sachin Dev) Burman.

The singer, as mentioned, is Mohammed Rafi, one of the most celebrated Bollywood playback singers ever.
