Ghoom Taana (Hindi:घूम ताना, Urdu: گھوم-تانا ) "Ghoom Taana" is a song featured in 2017 at season 10 of the Pakistani musical TV show Coke Studio.

The song was originally part of the 2004 album "Dewaar", by the Sufi-rock band Pakistani "Junoon".

The song was written and composed by Salman Ahmad, Junoon's founder. He claims it to be a semi-autobiographical song, related to his family's migration from Patiala to Lahore (from modern-day India to Pakistan respectively). The lyrics were written in collaboration with Sabir Zafar.

"Ghoom Taana" (na, na, na, na ...) is a typical phrase used for humming in multiple South Asian musical compositions (The words "ghoom" and "taana" also have their individual meanings, but probably not in this context).
Is is typical to use meaningless syllables for mnemonics and rhyming, but the word tarana specifically, which seems to be formed during this song's humming, is probably of Persian origin and was introduced by the poet Amiir Khusro Dihlavi.

In the video clip, the singers are Momina Mustehsan along with the all-female, a capella group Irteassh and Coke Studio's in-house vocalists).
