Dil Par Hua Ais Jadoo (Hindi: दिल पर हुआ ऐसा जादू, Urdu: دِل پر ہوا اَیسا جادو) "Such Incantation Happened on My Heart", sometimes also translated as "My Heart is Under Such a Spell", is a song from the 1955 Hindi romantic drama "Mr. and Mrs. '55".

The playback singer is the consecrated Bollywood playback singer Mohammed Rafi.

The lyrics were written by the Indian Urdu poet Majrooh Sultanpuri.

The music, which has a light-hearted marching rhythm, was composed by the famous Bollywood composer O.P. Nayyar.

Both Sultanapuri and Nayyar composed all the songs in the movie's soundtrack, and most of the songs were also interpreted by Mohammed Rafi.

In the scenes prior to the movie clip, the male protagonist, Pritam, had fallen in love at first sight with Anita, the female protagonist. In the video, Pritam tells his friend Johnny about the crush he is experiencing, and how positively it has affected his mood.

Pritam is played by the Indian actor Guru Dutt, who was also the movie director. His friend Johnny is played by the Indian comedic actor Johnny Walker. Johny often acted as the comedic counterpoint in Guru Dutt's movies.

The song is played with the background of the two friends being at a bar. Because at the time Pritam is a struggling cartoonist who basically lives on loans from Johnny, the bar owner kicks them out of the establishment due to unpaid tabs. Pritam keeps singing, oblivious of the world, while the two friends get in line at a bus stop. Shortly after boarding they are similarly kicked out of the bus for not having paid their tickets.

As all this happens, Johnny becomes increasingly annoyed but his friend Pritam doesn't care because he is lost in his own loving thoughts.
