the heartbeat became very loud!

Dil Dance Maare (Hindi: दिल डांस मारे, Urdu: دِل ڈانس مارے) "The Heart Dances Frantically" is a song from the 2008 Indian action comedy film "Tashan".
The lyrics, which were written by the Indian poet Javed Akhtar, and the language is Hindi, but with many English and Indian dialectal words inserted untranslated.

The song consists of two rival male protagonists, Jimmy Cliff and Bachchan Pandey, who compete in wooing the female protagonist, Pooja, or some undetermined woman of fair skin tone. The actors are Saif Ali Khan (Jimmy), and Kareena Kapoor (Pooja), two swindlers, and Akshay Kumar (Bachchan), a gangster hired to catch them.
None of them is a natural blond, but in the video clip, all three of them sport blond hair in obvious relation to the song.
They wear gaudy clothes, dance frantically, and sometimes play typical South Asian harmoniums to accompany the song.

The background is a movie set in what seems to be the Rajasthan desert, where they shoot the song while menacing the filming director at gunpoint, joined by a troupe of dancers who are all blond and fair-skinned.

"Dance Maare" is the English verb "to dance", and mārē the oblique participle of the verb mārnā, which means "to beat, to hammer". In combination, these 2 verbs mean "do dance rhythmically, frantically or energetically".

The verb "mārnā" is used many times along the song, always in this emphatic sense.

The song also uses repeatedly the word sasurā, which literally means "father-in-law" but it is used as a mild insult to an older person (something like "wretch", "old wretch", etc.). Probably due to the initial rivalry between the male characters.

The word mām̐, is used instead of the standard Hindustani mēṁ to mean "in, inside", and similarly jaisan, which has a folk / Awadhi flavor, is sometimes used instead of the standard conjunction jaisē to mean "as, like".

Also the typically Awadhi or Bojphuri possessive tōhrā / tōharā for "your" and the cliché "country rustic" demonstrative pronoun īh instead of the standard for "these", are deliberately used to reinforce the lack of sophistication shown by the characters.

The 2 male singer voices in the song belong to the Indian background singers Udit Narayan & Sukhwinder Singh, and the female singer is Sunidhi Chauhan.

The music was composed by the Bollywood singer-composer duo Vishal-Shekhar (Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani).
