Aplam Chaplam Chaplayee Re (Hindi: अपलम-चपलम चपलाई रे, Urdu: اَپْلام~چَپْلام چپْلائی رے) "Aplam-Chaplam, I Was Restive", is a song from the 1955 Bollywood action film "Azaad".

The first words of the title, "Aplam-Chaplam", don't have any specific meaning, although they could derive from chapaltaa, restiveness, reduplicated and with typical Sanskrit endings in order to provide a ritualistic, obscure, "mumbo-jumbo" effect.

The video clip shows the scene of the movie where the male protagonist, Azaad (Dilip Kumar) watches the performance of two folk dancers (the duo Sayee–Subbulakshmi).

The song's lyrics were written by Rajendra Krishan, and the music director was C. Ramachandra.

The playback singers are the sisters Lata and Usha Mangeshkar.
