Shakira (Hindi: शकीरा, Urdu: شکیرا) is a song from the 2015 Bollywood comedy "Welcome to Karachi".

"Shakira" is an Arabic female name meaning "thankful" (the masculine is śakīr). The title obviously refers to Shakira Mebarak, the famous Colombian singer-songwriter also known for her trademark waist movements.

The movie is about two clueless Indian expatriate friends,, Shami (Arshad Warsi) and Kedar (Jackky Bhagnani), who go through endless complications in Pakistan in order to return to India.

The video clip, released by T-Series, shows the two friends in a high-level party in Pakistan, entertained by a troupe of belly dancers led by the dancer and actress Lauren Gottlieb.
While they nonchalantly join the dance, they are being watched by Shazia, a Pakistani Secret Service agent (also played by Lauren Gottlieb).

The song's lyrics were written by Kausar Munir, and the music was composed by Jeet Gannguli.

The playback singer was Shalmali Kholgade.
