My Shoes Are Japanese
00 :34
[all stanza x2]
My shoes are Japanese
These pants are English
There is red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
[all stanza x2]
My shoes are Japanese
01 :10
I have set out on the open road,
expanding my chest [x2]
Where is the destination, where to stop
Only the One above knows! [x2]
01 :35
I move forward wandering
like tempestuous waters
There is a red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
My shoes are Japanese
These pants are English
There is red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
My shoes are Japanese
02 :10
Up and down, down and up,
the excitements of life are moving [x2]
Unwise is the one who, sitting on the side,
asks the ways of the country
02 :34
The story of life must be walked,
to stop is a sign of death
There is a red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
My shoes are Japanese
These pants are English
There is a red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
My shoes are Japanese
03 :11
I might be a luxuriating prince-heir,
(but) I am a spoiled prince at heart [x2]
I go and sit on the throne
whenever I wish [x2]
03 :36
(My) face is easily recognizable,
the amazement of the people of the world
There is a red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
My shoes are Japanese
These pants are British
There is a red Russian hat on my head
But still my heart is Indian
My shoes are Japanese
