Hairaan Hua (Urdu: حَیران ہوا, Hindi: हैरान हुआ) "I Became Wonderstruck" or "It Left Me Wonderstruck", is a song featured in Season 12 of the Pakistani music TV show "Coke Studio".

The lyrics of the song probably belong to the XViI-XViII centuries' Sufi poet Sachal Sarmast, and the music was composed by the Pakistani singer Abida Parveen.
In the video clip, it is interpreted by the Pakistani folk singer Sanam Marvi, accompanied by the Coke Studio home band and singers.

It is a Sufi song. As usual with this type of songs, romantic terms and expressions are given a special sense, or double-meaning, relating to the mystic experience, or to the devotion for the spiritual master, or to God.

The religious image that is probably implicit all along the song is when God revealed himself to Moses; this is the "place where beauty/divinity became manifest"

hamēṁ bhī jalvā jalvā-gāh-ē-nāz tak lētē calō mūsā Moses, take me too to that place where beauty manifests itself

There are also several other word-plays, for example, in Muslim tradition, the Day or Judgement is called sar-ē-haśr, but the word haśr alone means "tumult, riot".
Hence:
tum sar-ē-haśr milōgē yah sunā hai jab sē Since hearing they would meet you on Judgement Day
tērē dīvānōṁ nē ik haśr uṭhā rakhā hai your crazy lovers have made a tumult

ġamzā-ō-nāz is a seductive, coquettish look. But in Sufism, the "look" of God refers to His ability to alter one's inner life. In the song, this can be interpreted either way.

haq maujūd, sadā maujūd, "(The true) God is present, always present" is a salutation common among Sufis.

Several Muslim revered mystics, which are Sufis or have ties with Sufism, are mentioned in the song as well:
  • Mansour Hallaj (858 – 922), (called just "Mansur" in the song) was Persian mystic, poet, teacher, and Sufi reformer, known for his phrase "I am the truth". The song mentions him repeating this phrase at the time he was executed by hanging.
  • Shams Al-huq Tabrezi (1185–1248), was a Persian poet believed to have been the mentor of Rumi, one of the most famous Persain Sufi poets and mystics
  • Sarmad Kashani (1590–1661), (called "Sarmad" in the song) a Persian-speaking Armenian convert, who was a mystic and a poet close to the Sufi tradition, and was known for his freedom of expression during the times of Aurangzeb. He also died by execution.
