Nomad, nomad, my heart is a nomad.
Upon seeing her, my heart is a nomad.
Neither sleeping nor staying awake, my heart, my heart is a nomad
When she smiles, she makes (it) forget everything
Look at my heart go astray and be a nomad!

She goes through my heart as waves having crashed
Who knows what incomprehensible language she speaks
Ho! Ho!
She has laughed and butterflies have flown in (my) heart
Unseasonable lightnings have fallen upon me
Upon her coming, my heart was conquered

कह दे तो छोड़ दूँ मैं यह जग सारा
There is sorcery in (her) words [x2]
There is craftsmanship in her looks
I have spent hundreds of sleeps on her
yet, I craved every day to join you
If/once she says, I shall abandon this whole world

Banjaara (Hindi: बंजारा, Urdu: بنجارا) “Nomad”, “Wanderer”, is a song from the 2012 Indian action movie “Ek Tha Tiger”.

In the movie, an Indian spy agent codenamed Tiger (played by the Indian actor Salman Khan) falls in love with Zoya a Pakistani spy (played by the Indian actress Katrina Kaif), then they have to avoid the secret service agencies of their respective countries in order to pursue their relationship.

The video clip describes their first contacts, when Tiger is assigned a surveillance mission on Zoya while in Dublin, Ireland. The scene shows typical Irish vignettes while Tiger follows Zoya and starts to be attracted by her.

The Banjaara or Lambadi are a nomadic people of the Indian subcontinent closely related to the gypsies. The term “banjaara” came to mean a nomadic, wandering person.

The singer is Sukhwinder Singh, a well-known Indian playback singer. The lyrics were written by the Indian journalist, writer, and lyricist Neelesh Misra, and the music was composed by Sohail Sen, and Indian composer who also wrote 2 other songs for that movie: "Lapata" and "Saiyaara".
