Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo (Hindi: आज जाने की ज़िद न करो, Urdu: آج جانے کی ضِد نہ کرو, ISO 15919: āj jānē kī zid na karō): "Do not insist on leaving today", is a very famous Urdu nazm. A nazm is a traditional form of Urdu poetry, which differs from the ghazal in being more free-formed, prosaic and objective.

The lyrics were written by the Indo-Pakistani poet Fayyaz Hashmi, and the music for it was composed by the Pakistani composer Sohail Rana.

This nazm was sung by many consecrated artists and it was used as part of the playback of many movies.

In the video, the singer is the famous Pakistani ghazal singer Farida Khanum, who was 86 years old at that time. Mrs. Khanum makes 2 smart choices in this video: she sings a version that is shorter than de original, and she avoids the off-key, chromatic scale melismas that characterize many nazm interpretations. This way, the song is more appealing to the modern, untrained listener.
